Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chemistry Teacher to join a well-established school in Northolt on a maternity cover basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for science education and the ability to engage students of all abilities.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging science lessons to students in line with the national curriculum.

* Prepare students for exams and assessments.

* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

* Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary.

* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science program and contribute to extra-curricular activities.

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of science education and pedagogy.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Degree in Science or a related field.

* At least 1 years of experience teaching science at primary or secondary level.

* Strong classroom management skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning.

* Enhanced DBS check (or willing to undergo one).
