The Role:

As a Quality Inspector, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that every product meets the stringent quality standards that our client is known for. You will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections using conventional measuring equipment, as well as advanced tools like CMMs (Mitutoyo COSMOS and CMM Manager) and FARO arms. Your expertise in GD&T and FAIR reporting will be crucial in maintaining the accuracy and reliability of our inspection processes.

Working Hours:

* Monday – Thursday: 07:45 – 16:15

* Friday: 07:45 – 15:15

Responsibilities:

* Utilise conventional measuring equipment to perform detailed inspections of components and assemblies.

* Operate CMMs (preferably Mitutoyo COSMOS and CMM Manager) to ensure precise measurement and adherence to specifications.

* Apply GD&T knowledge to interpret engineering drawings and inspect components against design criteria.

* Prepare FAIR reports with a high level of accuracy, documenting inspection results and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

* Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment to maintain inspection schedules and meet production timelines.

* Assist in the calibration of measuring equipment, ensuring all tools are maintained and certified to the required standards.

* Utilise FARO arms for advanced measurement tasks, enhancing the precision of inspections.

About You:

* Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.

* Proficient in the use of conventional measuring equipment and advanced tools like CMMs and FARO arms.

* Strong understanding of GD&T and experience with FAIR reporting.

* Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

* Familiarity with calibration processes and maintaining high standards of measurement accuracy.
