Job Overview
We are seeking skilled Carpenters to join our clients team for door installation. The ideal candidate will have experience in using a variety of hand and power tools to complete projects efficiently and most importantly door hanging.
Travel is part of the job as candidate will be looking after a region not just on one site.
Must have their own tools.
Previous experience with fire door hanging is also desired by the client. Training will also be provided by the client to begin with.
## Duties
- Utilise carpentry skills to install & maintain doors.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during installation and maintenance.
- Safely operate power tools to cut, shape, and smooth materials
## Experience
- BM Trada ‘Q’ Mark ‑ door certification scheme.
- Fire Door Installation Certification
- CHAS, SafeContractor or similar
- Health & Safety certification such as CSCS Card or similar.
- Proven experience working as a Carpenter
- Proficiency in carpentry techniques and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and precision in all tasks performed
- Excellent physical condition to handle the demands of the job
Candidates must be ready to start from end of September for training
