Support Worker Children's Homes

Location: Spalding

Salary: £25,553 - £26,972 (£12.60 - £13.30 per hour) plus £3000 - £6000 pa for sleep-ins. (£62.64 per sleep-in)

Shift patterns - Full and part time considered working long days plus extra sleep in (approx. 4-6 sleep ins per month)

Full UK Driving licence is required.

We are looking for a children's support worker to become part of our family home, caring for young people who have sometimes complex emotional difficulties. You would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop.

The role can be emotionally challenging and you could be handling difficult situations BUT you could be the person to change a life for the better.

What do you need?
We want people who are positive, energetic and emotionally resilient.
Ability to remain calm in sometimes challenging situations.
Previous experience or transferable skills such as police, teaching, childcare, armed forces, supporting vulnerable people or a keen interest in mental health awareness
To show empathy and understanding
FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE ESSENTIAL
