Role: Operations Manager - Back Shift
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

My client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to take ownership of their DC across the back shift (14:30 - 23:00).

Our client is a fast-moving distribution business based in Sheffield. This is a critical role for someone with a strong background leading teams within a Warehouse Operations and working with automation and WMS.

About the Role

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations and will have the following key responsibilities:

Strategic and Operational Oversight
Leadership and Team Management:
KPI Management and Reporting
Continuous Improvement and Innovation
Health, Safety, and Compliance
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

Candidate Expectations

Candidates wishing to be considered will need to meet the following requirements:

Extensive experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with at least three years in a management role. - Essential
Proven track record in managing large teams and meeting demanding operational targets. - Essential
Advanced proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. - Essential
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making. - Essential
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Essential
Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards. - Essential
Qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not essential. - Advantageous
Certifications in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies advantageous. - Advantageous

The successful candidate will receive a salary between £40,000 & £50,000 + Benefits.

The role will cover a back shift from (Apply online only), Mon to Fri
