Salary: Days - £15.13 per hour (including holiday pay)

Nights - £16.25 per hour (including holiday pay)

Shift: Day Shift and Night Shift available

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our Driver Hire team in Barnsley for a leading UK value retailer. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and motivated drivers looking for ongoing work with competitive pay.

Responsibilities:

* Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles for the delivery of goods.

* Ensure timely and accurate delivery to designated locations.

* Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.

* Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.

* Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.

* Assist with loading and unloading of goods if required.

* Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers.

Requirements:

* Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (CAT C).

* CPC qualification and valid tachograph card.

* Previous experience in a similar role preferred.

* Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations.

* Excellent time management and organisational skills.

* Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
