My client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance Assistant to join a dynamic compliance team. This is a hybrid 12 month contract, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and from their central London office. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring their operations adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies, contributing to their ongoing commitment to ethical practices and regulatory excellence.

Description

Monitor and assess compliance with industry regulations (FCA, PRA) and internal policies.
Conduct internal audits and assist with regulatory reporting.
Identify compliance risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Maintain and update compliance documentation, ensuring all policies are up to date with the latest regulatory changes.
Provide training and support to staff on regulatory and compliance issues.
Support the wider compliance team with ad-hoc projects as needed.
Liaise with external regulators and stakeholders.

Profile

Proven experience in a compliance role, ideally within financial services, credit ratings, or a similar regulated environment.
Strong knowledge of FCA and PRA regulations.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
