Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate a nurturing and inclusive learning atmosphere to support the academic and social growth of students with special needs.
Collaborate closely with teachers and other support professionals to develop and implement effective strategies tailored to individual student needs.
Maintain comprehensive records of student progress and actively contribute to assessments and reports.
Foster regular communication with parents/guardians, offering updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
Collaborate with external professionals, such as educational psychologists and speech therapists, to meet the unique needs of students.
Ideal Candidate Qualities:
Demonstrated ability to connect with students with special needs on a personal level.
Understanding of diverse learning challenges and adeptness in employing varied strategies to foster student development.
Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
Exhibit traits of patience, empathy, and composure in challenging situations.
Proficient in organization, time management, and task prioritization.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
