We are seeking an organised Finance Administrator to join our team in our Beaconsfield office to carry out the administration of our utilities whilst supporting with general finance tasks.
About the Finance Administrator role
* Record all utility invoices onto our property management software (MRI Horizon) checking that the information is correct and that all invoices are managed through to payment.
* Manage a comprehensive record for utilities including meter readings, usage, queries, contracts, billing dates and change of tenancies. Ensure that the information is updated as required.
* Liaise with utility suppliers to resolve any queries, manage statements and apply for credits/refunds.
* Manage recharges for utilities to tenants.
* Act as the main contact with the company’s utilities broker, ensure that we are effectively reviewing our suppliers.
* Work with the wider team to gain accurate meter readings.
* Actively review and investigate high usage properties.
* Provide support to the finance team with coding and posting journals, bank reconciliation for utilities accounts, etc.
About you
* Proven experience in a busy administrative role.
* Excellent numerical skills and accuracy.
* Strong Excel skills specifically manipulating and structuring data.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Organised and capable of coordinating cross functional processes.
