Job Title: Management Accountant

Location: Longbridge, Birmingham

Gleeson Recruitment are supporting a successful and dynamic business recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team. The business pride themselves on their passion for what they do and surrounding themselves with talented individuals. Their small finance team is pivotal to the success of the business and continued success in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Management Accountant, the ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, with the right support, training and development around. You will be instrumental in providing accurate financial insights, supporting decision-making processes, and enhancing the overall financial performance of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone part qualified in ACCA or CIMA and looking for a role where you can develop your skill set further in a great working environment whilst adding value and putting your month end skill set to good use.

Assisting in the production of management accounts on a monthly / quarterly basis
Month end reporting
Accruals, Prepayments and Journal entries
Balance sheet reconciliations
VAT returns
Managing cash flow forecasting a
Communicate to relevant stakeholders effectively
Weekly KPI reporting
Identify and drive financial efficiency improvement opportunitiesQualifications:

Part Qualified (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
Proven experience as an Assistant Management Accountant or similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.What We Offer:
