Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Disrepair Manager to join an organisation based in Manchester on a temporary - permanent basis to manage their disrepair cases and supervise a team of Surveyors.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Disrepair Manager:

Oversee the management of disrepair cases and supervise a team comprising surveyors and a disrepair officer.
Attend court proceedings related to disrepair claims as necessary.
Develop and implement processes aimed at mitigating future claims.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of the various liabilities covered by the Housing Association.
Audit survey reports from surveyors to ensure compliance with company protocols.
Apply knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to disrepair, including Sections 9, 10, and 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.
Review the work of appointed contractors to ensure alignment with internal objectives.
Ensure that all data is accurately recorded and maintained.Essential Requirements of the Disrepair Manager:
