We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer based in Rushden to join to one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. This role requires several overnight stays a week. Our client are well-established with over 20 years’ experience in the cutting machinery industry.

Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer

Provide nationwide service on CNC machines.
Reactive diagnosis, maintenance and repair of machine breakdowns.
Service and repair of high-specification 4-axis machine tools.
Fault finding.
Diagnose and repair CNC machine tools.
Assemble and dismantle pneumatic and technical mechanical assemblies. 
Test, install and commission CNC equipment.
Requirements for a successful Field Service Engineer

Minimum 4 years field service engineering experience specialising in CNC machines.
Experience fault finding both mechanical and electrical.
Full clean UK licence and willingness to travel/stay overnight.
Strong working knowledge of 24v CNC control systems, Servo Driver and Inverter Systems. 
Good communication skills.
Computer literate.
Summary of the Field Service Engineer role

Salary: £40,000 per annum plus van
Location: Rushden
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 5:00pm, Friday 7:30am – 11:00am
