Financial Accountant

Location: Rugby

Rate of Pay: DOE

Contract position with an immediate start available

A large manufacturing organisation is looking to appoint a Financial Accountant to join their team. This position is on a contract basis with a minimum duration of 6 months and is a fantastic opportunity for an ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant.

What you will be doing:

* Core accounting procedures and journal processing

* Balance sheet reconciliations

* VAT Return preparations and co-ordination with the external corporation tax team

* Principal contact for external audit

* Reviewing business performance and drive for continuous improvement

* Preparation and review of rebates

* Assisting the financial controller with necessary projects and report preparation

What you will bring to the team:

* Qualified ACCA/CIMA

* Minimum of 5 years Post Qualification experience

* Experienced of large companies ideally international

* General Ledger and management reporting experience

* Ability to work to tight deadlines
