I am working with a lovely secondary school based in the Chesham area, Buckinghamshire surrounded by beautiful Chiltern countryside and within easy reach of London by road or public transport.

They are looking for a qualified English Teacher for an ASAP- Christmas 2024 on a long term contract, full time. There will be a permanent position available for the right candidate.

Are you a knowledgeable and enthusiastic English teacher looking for your first position after Teacher Training?
Are you a fully qualified Teacher
Are you able to teach English up to GCSE Level? - KS3 & 4

Requirements for this position are as follows:

A proven track record in the delivery of high quality lessons up to KS4.
A passion for improving student attainment within the subject.

Setting realistic learning objectives for students.
Applying relevant behaviour management techniques when necessary.
Ensuring students are suitably challenged based on individual needs.
Ensuring students are aware of expectations related to specific exam board.
Setting tasks that maintain student engagement, both in class and with regards to homework.
