Prospero Teaching are working with a lovely nurturing and inclusive early years school in Poole that is dedicated to providing outstanding education and care for children with a range of SEN, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs. As an SEN Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support the teacher in delivering engaging, child-centred lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of our pupils.
Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Work closely with SENDCOs, therapists, and teachers to implement individualised learning plans.
Foster strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals to support each child's development.
Use innovative strategies to promote communication, social skills, and independence.
Provide personal care and support for children where necessary.What we need from you:

Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in an early years setting.
A deep understanding of child development, play-based learning, and sensory needs.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
A patient, empathetic, and creative approach to supporting learning.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential.
