Salary: £61,617 – £65,025 (Redbridge - S17)

MLK Search is proud to be partnering with this secondary all-girls selective grammar school in the heart of north east London to appoint a strategic, driven, and highly skilled Business Manager for March 2025.

Academic results are excellent and generally all our leavers go on to Higher Education, though sporting and creative participation and personal achievement are heavily encouraged, as well as academia. School life blends the very new with the very traditional and under the leadership of the newly appointed Headteacher, the atmosphere is vibrant, purposeful and very friendly.

The School Business Manager plays a pivotal role in maximising the resources available to support teaching and learning and meeting the targets set out in the School Action Plan.

The successful candidate will be responsible to the Headteacher and the Governors for all aspects of Finance, Premises and Administration.

The development of a new strategic development plan is a current focus for the Senior Leadership team, and the School Business Manager will play a key role in this.

Applicants should have:
• A strong financial background
• Recognised financial qualifications
• Significant experience of strategic financial management
• A commitment to securing new revenue opportunities
• A high level of drive and determination
• Experience within a school setting (though not essential).
