SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Nuneaton
Daily Rate: £90 - £105
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full Time - 8:30am to 3:30pm (Term Time Only)
Contract: Long Term with potential for Permanent

We are hiring for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our modern, two-form entry primary school in Nuneaton. This role involves providing dedicated support for a Year 4 pupil with special educational needs.

The Role: 1:1 SEN TA (ASD - Year 4)

Support a Year 4 student with ASD, currently working at a Key Stage 1 level

Focus on learning through play and sensory activities

Create a consistent and engaging learning environment tailored to the child's needs

Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress and adapt strategies accordingly

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or a relevant qualification)

Strong experience providing 1:1 support in a school setting

Background working with SEN pupils, particularly those with ASD and ADHD

Confidence managing behaviour and implementing calming strategies

Ability to follow the class teacher's direction and EHCP requirements

Familiarity with the UK primary curriculum and EYFS/KS1-level learning
