I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor. They are looking to onboard a Project manager to help deliver a civil and infrastructure package being delivered in Essex. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in highways and civils.
Project manager responsibilities:
* Coordinating with the client and main contractor on site.
* Ensure all activities comply with the requirements of the NEC contract.
* Site supervision of operations, ensuring they adhere to project specifications and safety regulations.
* Developing and maintaining detailed programs.
* Holding progress meetings.
* Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of works from start to completion.
* Act as the primary point of contact between the client and main contractor.
* Review and amend RAMS.
* Prepare and deliver regular tool box talks relevant to works being undertaken.
* Implement and maintain safety procedures and conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
* In conjunction with the foreman, manage and allocate resources, including labour, plant and materials, to optimize project efficiency.
* Site inspections.
* Maintaining accurate records.
Project manager requirements:
* Right to work in the UK.
* NVQ level 6.
* Black CSCS.
* SMSTS.
* IT literate.
* Previous experience working under NEC contracts.
* 5 years experience in a project managers position.
* Previous highways, civils and groundwork experience.
* Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS project, MS office and Adobe.
* Full UK driving licence.
