The School and Role

This large, community driven Academy School based in Basildon are seeking a PE Teacher to work in a well-established department on a full-time basis. Working in this Secondary School as part of an established team, the desired PE Teacher will be planning and delivering lessons to KS3-KS5 students. This PE Teacher role is a long-term role with potential to become permanent.  

Rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED in 2023, this Secondary School offers fantastic resources and facilities with a fantastic Sixth Form Centre. With free on-site parking, this role is ideal for PE Teachers with a full UK drivers licence in the Basildon area. Part of a small academy trust, this friendly school can offer excellent CPD opportunities for a PE Teacher who is looking to develop in their career and progress through the school.

Requirements 

The desired PE Teacher will have;

Experience of working in a Secondary School as a PE Teacher
Knowledge of UK Curriculum and the ability to teach students how to problem-solve
Resilience, determination and a passion for your subject
PGCE with QTS and right to work in the UK
