Location: Walthamstow, London, E17 8PQ
Salary: £32k - 40k, DOE + Benefits
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

We have many exciting new projects and would like to offer a full-time roll to a suitable engineer. The role will be diverse and include time working in all areas of the business. Key for the role is that you are confident, proactive, keen to be challenged, possess strong analytical skills and are willing to undertake training.
Process Engineer - The Role:
As a Process Engineer you will be working on array of projects such as developing new products for the automotive industry, designing world-leading industrial manufacturing processes and continuously improving existing production processes. You will learn how get engineering products and process development from the whiteboard concept to a single prototype and on to producing a million pieces a year.
Working in a diverse team you will see all aspects of the manufacturing process and own projects to deliver world-class safety, quality and output. Elmelin is a small growing business and so you will have the chance to join a team which is learning and improving every day.
This role will suit either a graduate or a recent graduate with a few years' experience.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Design and develop the manufacturing process of new products.
* Create control plans and implement statistical process control.
* Initiate improvement changes and manage improvement projects.
* Perform process control measurement and utilise limits and sample measurement methodology.
* Operate measurement devices which include understanding viscosity and specific gravity as concepts and how to measure them.
Process Engineer - Required Skills, qualifications, and experience:
* Minimum Bachelor's degree qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial engineering, or related engineering or another relevant field
* Strong computer skills
* Proactive and eager to take on projects
Desired skills, qualifications and experience:
* Ability to design and program electro-mechanical systems
* PLC programming
* Engineering project management experience
* Experience of high-quality industry (e.g. automotive, aerospace, medical device…)
