Our client, a leading player in the HTP sector, is currently seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working on construction sites and ensuring the timely delivery of materials essential for project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Transporting materials and goods between various construction sites
Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of materials
Driving vehicles in compliance with company and legal standards
Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork
Adhering to health and safety regulations on sites and during transport
Communicating effectively with site managers and other team members
Performing any additional driving duties as required

Job Requirements:

Experience in HGV driving, particularly within the construction sector
Valid HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) driving licence
Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations
Ability to perform vehicle inspections and report any issues
Strong understanding of health and safety requirements on construction sites
Good communication skills and attention to detail
Reliability and punctuality
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
