An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Engineering Manager to take charge of a fast-paced and innovative food manufacturing facility. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will be responsible for driving the engineering team's performance and ensuring the smooth operation of production lines through effective maintenance, project management, and continuous improvement.
 
Responsibilities:
-  Lead the engineering team to manage maintenance, repairs, and improvements on production equipment and facilities.
-  Managing CAPEX and engineering budgets to ensure cost-effective solutions.
-  Maximise machinery uptime through PPM, breakdown response, and spare parts management.
-  Develop plans to improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and increase productivity.
-  Monitor engineering performance, report key metrics, and identify improvement areas.
-  Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
-  Collaborate with other departments to resolve engineering challenges impacting production.
-  Lead engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
-  Oversee recruitment, training, and development of the engineering team.
 
What We're Looking For:
-  Proven Engineering leadership experience with a food manufacturing environment.
-  Strong expertise in machinery maintenance, fault diagnosis and PPM systems.
-  Experience managing CAPEX or other engineering budgets.
-  A hands-on approach with the ability to motivate a team and deliver results.
-  Strong understanding of compliance and HSE practises.
