Job Title: Academic Administrator / Examinations Officer
Location: Broadstairs
Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 (starting range)

Purpose of the role:
To provide administrative support to an academic team, submit student's grades to Pearson and distribute certificates to students.
The post-holder will be in direct line management by the Assistant Programme Leader or a designated person appointed by the directors.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the Assistant Programme Leader to arrange and deliver meetings; board room booking, taking notes, and preparing draft minutes for the Chair
Produce timely and accurate minutes following meetings and liaise with the Chair on any action required
Assisting with document preparation for Pearson AMR visits, OfS and Pearson EE visits
Assist with document preparation for Academic Assessment Panel, Programme Committee, Standardisation meeting and Marker's IV Training, Progression Board, QAEC, and the Academic Board
Maintain and track all committees' action plans and follow up on outstanding action points
Assist with documents and forms preparation; Mitigating Circumstances, Student Complaint Register, Student Feedback, Teaching Observation, Peer Review, Student at Risk Register, and VLE Audit
Liaising with Lecturers regarding lesson plans and workshop/field trip schedules
Allocate students' assignments to the Lecturers for marking
Assign IV forms to the LecturersExaminations duties:
Enter student grades on the grade sheet for all courses and perform a grades audit
Submit student's final grades to Pearson
Liaise with Pearson; withdrawal, name changes and certificate errors
Record and distribute certificates to students and collect Exit Survey
Assist with planning and organising Graduation Ceremonies for studentsOther General College Duties:

The successful candidate should have the knowledge and competence required for standard acceptable performance in carrying out this role.
The candidate should possess:
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with other staff
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point
The ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
Customer service skills
