SER are currently working a nursery in Maidstone who are looking to appoint a L3 Nursery Practitioner for a short-term contract (2 months) from September 2024. A professional, supportive and rewarding environment the nursery are looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner able to provide the best possible support and experience for the children in their care.
Position: Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)
Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: Full time (early and lates – hours TBC)
Duration: 2-month contract (2nd September – 31st October 2024)
Rate of Pay: from £12.31 pr hr depending on experience
Essential Requirements:
* Full and relevant Childcare Qualification (NNEB/CACHE, BTEC or NVQ) Level 3 or above
* Sound knowledge of child protection and safeguarding
* Ability to deliver a high standard of childcare
* Excellent planning, organising and time management skills
* Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with children, families, your team and the local community
* Full Paediatric First Aid Qualification desirable
This position is due to start on 2nd September for successful candidates, but there is a degree of flexibility with this. Initially this will be on a short-term contract. All candidates must:
* Be able to commit to working the hours specified above.
* Provide an enhanced DBS registered on the update service. If you do not hold a valid DBS be willing to apply for a new DBS. The cost of a DBS is a one-off payment of £48 with an annual subscription of £13 per year to the DBS Update Service.
* If you have been a UK resident for less than 5 years, a right to work visa must be provided and a criminal background check certificate must be provided for any country resided in for 6 months or more within the past 5 years.
* Provide all required documentation (ID, Qualifications)
