Proactive Personnel are working with a large manufacturer to recruit an experienced Fitter, to join their team in Chester.

Job Summary:
Join our team at Proactive Personnel as a Fitter where you will be expected to provide a responsive technical service to support customer’s orders for electrical products, components and spare parts and to also participate in team tasks as required. General warehouse tasks and assisting with other teams when required.

Duties:
- Fitting electrical components following technical drawings and specifications
- Perform all production, testing and repair processes to set standards with due regard for health and safety regulations
- Performing final inspection of products prior to despatch and ensuring product checklist is complete before testing
- Maintain a clean and tidy 5S workshop at all times

Requirements:
- Electrical assembly experience from an industrial setting
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge to effectively assemble electrical components

- Be prepared to learn further - fire warden duties and FLT driver

Hours and Pay:

- Monday to Friday

- Day shifts

- 39 hours per week plus overtime

- £DOE
