Our client is seeking a dedicated and driven Junior Project Manager to support their Contracts Managers. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn in a dynamic and busy environment, with a focus on improving project performance and growing within the company.

Essential prior experience

Internal and external residential refurbishments  
Traditional, heritage, and modern buildings, including blocks with contract values ranging from £100k to £2m

Qualifications:

Health and Safety knowledge
Construction-related qualifications
Site-based experience and knowledge

Key responsibilities:

Project Performance: Actively contribute to enhancing overall project performance through effective planning and execution.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to Health & Safety regulations, including CDM 2015
Building Regulations Awareness: Stay updated on building regulations to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Supply Chain Management: Issue supply chain inquiries and place low-value orders via email to support project needs.
Site Meetings: Attend and contribute to site meetings with Contracts Managers, Site Foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers.
H&S: Follow up on independent Health & Safety inspection reports to ensure all items are addressed and closed out.
Client Relations & Liaison: Represent the company at meetings, maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Organized & Efficient: Effectively manage your time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Commercial Awareness: Maintain a keen awareness of commercial aspects and project impacts.
IT Proficiency: Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office & Project, and project management tools like (url removed).
