We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Stress Engineers / Analysts. Based in Bamber Bridge, Preston offices, you will be assigned to a major new defence project, where your skills and experience in Structural Analysis / FEA will be fully utilized.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities within your role will include (but not limited to):

Interfacing with UK based Team to understand technical issues / specifications and requirements
Undertaking Finite Element Analysis Simulations using Abaqus CAE of marine structural seats / brackets / bolts
Work with the customer to determine solutions for failed simulations
Writing Analysis reports
Producing quality while keeping within project budgets & time constraints and potentially changing requirements
Apply correct processes, specifications procedures & techniques working with support from specialist teams

Qualifications

BEng Degree in Engineering discipline

Desired skills

Deep knowledge of structures, design and project delivery.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
Proven ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, manage multiple projects, and drive results.

Experience

8 years experience in undertaking Linear and Non-Linear finite element analysis
8 years experience in Hand analysis
