Job Title: Lead Security Architect
Contract Type: 24 months
Day Rate: £550 - £600 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in London, Bristol, or Manchester

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Security Architect to play a critical role in shaping and enhancing security architecture across government services. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading experts and contribute to the development of the "Secure by Design" principles for use across a wide range of high-profile public sector initiatives.

Skills and Experience Required

We are looking for individuals with a proven track record in delivering innovative and robust security solutions in complex environments.

Technical Expertise

Strong understanding of security technical controls and architecture principles.
Experience developing and implementing security design patterns.
Familiarity with cloud computing architecture, including security risks and mitigations.
Knowledge of Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) and Open Enterprise Security Architecture (O-ESA).
Proficiency in using GitHub for documentation and collaboration.

Soft Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to engage with and influence diverse stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
Experience facilitating workshops and collaborative sessions.

Desirable Knowledge

In-depth understanding of current cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities.
Experience with infrastructure, network, and application security.
Knowledge of government security standards and practices is a plus
