About the Role:
Supply Desk is currently recruiting for a passionate and inspiring Music Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Stoke Poges. The ideal candidate will have the ability to engage students in both practical and theoretical aspects of music, and foster a love for the subject within a vibrant and supportive school environment. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Encourage students to develop a passion for music through practical lessons, music theory, and performance.
Organize and lead music activities such as concerts, school performances, or other extra-curricular musical activities.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Adapt lessons to cater for the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring all students are supported to reach their potential.
Collaborate with colleagues across the department and school to enhance the music curriculum.
Maintain a positive and creative classroom environment conducive to learning.
Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching music at secondary school level (KS3/KS4).
Strong knowledge of music theory and practical music.
Ability to inspire students and foster a creative and engaging learning environment.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A passion for music education and a desire to contribute to the extracurricular life of the school.
Availability to start in January 2025 is highly desirable.
