We are looking for a Housing Reviews and Appeals Officer to assist a Local Authority based in East London with completing their statutory duties under the Homeless Reduction Act.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Review representations and accommodation suitability
- Appeal against some decisions made, such as fixed term tenancy reviews
- Provide support to court cases
- Ensure adequate advice is provided for customers

Candidate requirements:

- Understanding and applied knowledge of relevant legislations (e.g., Homeless Reduction Act, Housing Act VI)
- Experience of working within a similar role previously

As mentioned, this role is based in East London so may be of interest to candidate based within this area or the surrounding areas including some parts of Essex.
