18th Edition Qualified Electrician
Overview:
Sureline Electrical Modules have been successfully designing, manufacturing and installing electrical equipment for marinas, inland waterways and caravan parks for over 50 years.
We employ skilled engineers to build and install all our equipment so that we maintain high standards and comply with all relevant health and safety requirements.
We are looking for a new team member to join our existing team of qualified Electricians.
Location:
Most works are carried out at marinas throughout the South coast and some works at our office in Eastleigh, Southampton.
Duties:
As an 18th Edition Qualified Electrician a typical day for you will be working on your own or as part of a team working on commercial /industrial installations, which may include visiting more than one site per day.
Works vary daily between testing, fault finding/repairs to larger new installations.
Most works are carried out at marinas throughout the South coast.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings, both small and large scale.
Ability to maintain electrical systems effectively.
Must be able to deal with a variety of work, including inspection/testing, installations, maintenance repairs, and remedial work.
Be competent in carrying out inspection and testing, completing EICR/EIC reports, identifying faults and deviations from BS7671.
Manage certifications from start to finish.
Have good working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements.
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently.
Requirements for the role of 18th Edition Qualified Electrician:
* Electrical Installation level 3 (or equivalent).
* 18th Edition.
* Approved Electrician (preferred).
* Inspection and Testing 2391/2394/2395.
* Minimum of 4 years post qualified experience (preferred)
* ECS Card/ CSCS Card (desirable).
* IPAF / PASMA (desirable).
* Full UK Driving License.
* Willingness to work outside all year round.

Pay:
JIB rates at a minimum, rates to be agreed depending on experience as an 18th Edition Qualified Electrician.
Schedule:
* 7.5 hours minimum per day, Monday to Friday.
* Overtime, available daily.
* Some weekend or out of normal working hours, required at times.
* Be willing to travel and stay away from time to time.
