Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Monitoring & Responding Officer for a local authority based in North London.
In this role, you will provide compassionate, responsive, and hands-on support to vulnerable residents by handling emergency calls, delivering in-person assistance.
Key Duties:
Respond to emergency and non-critical calls, providing on-site support, safe lifting, and first aid as needed.
Deliver excellent customer service by handling calls with empathy and arranging appropriate interventions.
Maintain accurate records, update service user information, and carry out minor equipment maintenance.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to ensure service users' safety and independence.Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
Experience in providing frontline support in adult social care or a similar customer-focused setting.
Familiarity with call monitoring systems, social care databases, and maintaining accurate service records.
Confident in responding to emergencies, performing risk assessments, and supporting individuals with varied needs.
Proven ability to work under pressure, communicate effectively, and collaborate with professionals and families.What's on offer:
Salary: £17+ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: 36 hours per week
- This is a 24/7 service and shift arrangements are 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm and 11pm to 7am 7 days week
