ABC Teachers is seeking a Long-Term English Supply Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in Acocks Green. The school is well-regarded for its strong commitment to academic excellence, providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where both students and staff thrive.
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Inspire a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking.
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements
The successful English Teacher will have;
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching English at secondary level.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A commitment to fostering students' academic growth and confidence.
Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
