Our client, operating in the Public sector, is seeking a Junior Structures Engineer for a contract position within their Structural Engineering department. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and development of bridge structures and other essential infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting senior engineers in the design and assessment of bridge structures
Conducting site inspections and investigations to gather data
Assisting in the preparation of technical reports and design documentation
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time
Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
Contributing to project planning and scheduling activities

Job Requirements:

Experience or understanding of bridge engineering
Basic knowledge of structural design principles
Ability to conduct site inspections and gather data effectively
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering or equivalent qualification
