Treasurer: Our Treasurer oversees finances at both a strategic and technical level. Ideal candidates will have a professional finance or accounting background; knowledge of charity finance is beneficial but not essential. We especially encourage applications from underrepresented communities, including younger people.
Commitment and Support:
– Meetings: Attend approximately six Board meetings per year, plus our AGM and optional sub-group sessions.
– Location: Board meetings are in-person in Shrewsbury, while other meetings can be joined virtually.
– Development: Access training, trustee development sessions, and induction programs to support your journey.
Benefits:
– Volunteer Role: This is a voluntary position with travel expenses covered.
– Time Commitment: Around one monthly meeting, plus occasional training (approximately three sessions per year).
