This role is with a Local Authority in London looking to bring on a Building Surveyor with experience in the industry before.

Role Overview:
As a Building Surveyor for this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and services related to property condition, compliance, and building management.
You will play a crucial role in council owned properties carrying out inspections, surveys and assessments to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct building surveys and inspections to assess the condition of properties.
Provide advice on building maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
Prepare detailed reports and schedules of work for clients.
Manage and coordinate projects from inception to completion.
Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and health & safety standards.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout projects.
Assist with dilapidation reports and other legal documentation when required.
Contribute to the development of the company’s building surveying strategy.
