Arlington Moore is working in partnership with a Lincoln-based company who have an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Coordinator to join their team. The role of Purchasing Coordinator will be to support the business operations by ensuring the correct raw materials are available to satisfy customer requirements whilst maintaining stock within agreed levels as well as indirect buying and project work.
Responsibilities of the Purchasing Coordinator:
* Creating/releasing orders to suppliers
* Ensuring messages are actioned in a timely manner
* Reporting materials against production plans
* Reviewing stock levels
* Indirect purchasing inc. negotiating with suppliers
* Working on improvement projects as part of the purchasing team
* Working closely with the Production Planning and Customer Service to ensure effective communication of changes in supply
Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge of the Purchasing Coordinator
* Experience in supply chain e.g. materials, warehouse administration, inventory, planning, purchasing
* Experience of working with IT based stock systems
* Highly organized with strong analytical skills
* Attention to detail
