Trade Counter Customer Service Executive / Supervisor

Salary: Circa £28k, plus store bonus scheme and additional benefits

Hours: Full-Time / Part-Time with weekend availability

Locations: Ferndown, New Milton, and Lymington – Hampshire

We are excited to welcome a dedicated Trade Counter Customer Service Executive / Supervisor to our Hampshire team, supporting stores in Ferndown, New Milton, and Lymington.

The Role

As a Trade Counter Customer Service Executive / Supervisor, you'll be instrumental in creating a top-notch experience for customers. You'll lead by example, ensuring high standards across the store while helping customers find exactly what they need.

Key Responsibilities:

* Store Leadership: Act as a key holder, managing store opening and closing to ensure security and readiness.

* Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional service tailored to both trade professionals and retail customers.

* Sales & Service: Support your team to achieve sales targets, sharing product knowledge and solutions.

* Store Standards: Maintain an appealing, well-organized store layout.

* Stock Management: Keep shelves stocked and inventory up to date.

* Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and productive work environment.

What We're Looking For

* Experience: Previous sales or customer service experience in trade or retail settings, ideally with some supervisory experience.

* Driving License: Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

* Flexibility: Weekend availability and willingness to travel to nearby stores as needed.

* Skills: Team-oriented, strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.

Schedule:

* Flexible 10-hour shifts, some Saturdays 7-2pm

Qualifications

* Education: GCSE or equivalent preferred

* Experience: 1+ year ideally with some trade counter experience, not essential.
