Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Package

Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Cambridge

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, working on exciting construction projects. You will assist the Senior QS team in managing costs, contracts, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and managing project budgets and valuations
Support senior surveyors in contract administration and cost reporting
Help manage subcontractor accounts and procurement processes
Monitor project progress and provide financial updates to the team
Contribute to risk management and cost control measures
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders as required

Requirements:

Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or working towards)
1-2 years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role (construction experience preferred)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, CostX, etc.)
Ability to work as part of a team and independently when needed
Eagerness to learn and grow within the role
