Architectural Technician Opportunity - High-End Residential Projects

We are excited to begin a new relationship with this luxury residential specialist in SW London. With an incredible portfolio of projects, we are now looking for a couple of standout individuals to join their notable team.

Role Overview:
As an Architectural Technician, you will be an integral part of the project team. Your role will involve preparing detailed drawings and specifications, collaborating with various stakeholders, and overseeing the construction phase to ensure adherence to the design. Your contributions will be vital to the successful execution of bespoke residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Creating accurate and high quality drawing at both planning and technical stages.
• Liaise with consultants and manufacturers during the selection process of products for construction details.
• Conduct technical research into products and building materials as directed.
• Assist with site inspections, including condition surveys, site progress analysis, and identification of build work defects.
• Prepare photographic, SketchUp, and 3D visuals to assist the team.
• Prepare specifications using NBS Chorus.
Requirements:
• We imagine you’ll need to have a minimum of 5 years UK experience though if slightly below but gained excellent skill development, please do apply.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD whilst any Revit experience would be highly attractive. SketchUp skills also desirable.
• Ability to sketch by hand in 3D and 2D technical details.
• Some experience with SketchUp for explaining building junctions and details.
• Previous work in the high-end residential sector really would be preferred for ease of transition into their live workload.
• Strong interest in the technical development of bespoke details.

This is a permanent position based from their attractive office space in SW London. You’ll be joining a medium sized team working on incredible projects both in the UK and overseas. The salary is likely in the £35,000 - £45,000 range for this particular open depending on your relevant background.
