HSEQ Coordinator | Derby | Up to £30,000
The Opportunity:
A leading Rolling Stock Engineering company require a proactive administrative professional, to drive best practice across the workforce, coordinating all HSEQ documentation ensuring the company remains compliant and highly organised.
You will gain exposure inside the Rail/H&S industry, to become an invaluable member of the team. Trained and upskilled to become an expert in Health and Safety, you will have the opportunity to continue developing in your career within this sector.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Support the QHSE and Compliance Manager with developing and implementation of strategies and processes aligned with the company values.
Oversee QHSE processes deployed throughout the business and provide oversight of compliance with system QHSE systems.
Monitor and evaluate the performance through inspection and audits to identify and address any issues or non-conformities.
Checking and editing documents for accuracy and compliance. Controlling the flow of documents internally and externally. Reporting errors or developments regarding document storage.
Ensuring the secure destruction and disposal of sensitive documents. Maintaining access/edit security and version control. Holding others to high standards of control.
Participates in incident investigations. Ensuring root causes are identified, a just culture model is applied, and corrective and preventive actions are suitably robust.
Holds others accountable for preventive and corrective actions.
The Candidate:
Strong administrative background / document control background - Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Previous use of a management systems
Great communication skills, able to assimilate and get stuck in across the business
Desirable – Understanding of ISO accreditations/ IOSH
Salary: Up to £30,000
Location: Derby, Pride Park.
