Job Title: Press Officer - Marketing Specialist

Rate: £21 - £22 per hour (PAYE, excludes holiday pay)
Hybrid Working: 4 days in office, 1 day remote (Friday)

A leading global financial services firm is seeking a dynamic Press Officer - Marketing Specialist to join the Corporate Communications team in London. Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced media relations professional to fill a 9-month contract role while a team member is on maternity leave. Reporting to the Head of Media Relations, you'll focus on our Research and Asset Management divisions. Your responsibilities will include:
* Organising media events such as press interviews, briefings, and seminars.
* Distributing daily research reports and coordinating media training.
* Liaising with PR consultants and managing industry award submissions.
* Coordinating corporate communications highlights and updates for senior management.
* Ensuring alignment between PR and marketing strategies.

Key Requirements:
* 2-5 years of media relations experience, preferably in financial services.
* Strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and attention to detail.
* Experience with social media, video, and digital content is a plus.
* Degree educated or equivalent
* A personal device for remote work
