Job Title: Asbestos Operations Manager
Location: Sevenoaks, Kent
Salary/Benefits: £40k - £75k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting in the South East for a knowledgeable and professional Asbestos Operations Manager, to join a well-established Asbestos Removals firm. The company has an excellent reputation, so the ideal applicant will need to conduct themselves positively and efficiently, in order to maintain excellent relationships with both internal staff and clients. You will be managing projects from initiation and through to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met and implementing areas to improve as necessary. Applicants will need excellent communication skills and must be fully conversant in industry technical knowledge. Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have a proven and successful track record overseeing the delivery of projects within an Asbestos Removals outfit
- Robust industry technical knowledge
- Experienced in managing teams of site and office staff effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional manner
- Good time-keeping and organisational skills
- IT literate

The Role:
- You will be overseeing the successful running of an Asbestos Removals team within a well-established outfit
- Managing staff workloads and allocating projects in an effective manner
- Producing RAMS and ASB5s
- Attending sites to conduct initial risk assessments and establish the scope of works
- Maintaining adherence with compliance and safety guidelines
- Carrying out audits and quality assurance checks on works to monitor performance
- Producing quotations and plans for asbestos removals projects
- Being a key contact for clients; to answer technical queries and handle any complaints or logistical issues
- Ensuring projects run to agreed timescales and budgets
- Identifying areas for training and completing competency checks on staff
- Supporting the on-boarding of new members of staff
- Building and maintaining strong relationships both with staff and clients
- Troubleshooting issues and supporting site staff
