Emissions Certification Engineer

12 Month Contract - INSIDE IR35

£27.27 - £28.33 per hour

Hybrid - 3 days a week in Peterborough

We are looking to speak with people with emission certification experience to fill a key role within one of our global engineering clients.

Responsibilities:

Possess an in-depth knowledge of engine emissions certification requirements, the associated legal obligations and business processes
Coach different business areas on certification requirements to ensure timely execution of certification work streams
Lead the execution of engine emissions certifications from receipt of request, through certificate received, to emissions label implementation
Maintaining owned emissions certificates and associated labels through life of production
Working with and nurturing relationships with global governmental agency representatives
Skills Required:

Experience in obtaining engine emissions certification
An engineering or legal education / background / experience
A passion for doing things right and to a high standard
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse local and international teams
Ability and interest in digesting regulatory materials
Confident and effective communicator - able to articulate our focus on compliance, and to challenge the status quo where necessary, to establish the facts.
Unrestricted passport with the ability to travel (occasionally) internationallyDisclaimer:
