Junior Sales Engineer Role and Responsibilities:

* Sales Support: Assist the sales team in generating new business by providing technical expertise during client meetings and presentations.

* Customer Interaction: Build relationships with clients, understanding their security needs and recommending appropriate products and services.

* Product Demonstrations: Present and demonstrate security products such as CCTV, access control, and alarms to clients, both on-site and remotely.

* Technical Advice: Provide technical support to the sales team and clients, offering tailored solutions based on customer requirements and specifications.

* Proposal and Quotation Preparation: Help prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and specifications for clients, ensuring they meet their needs and budget.

* Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities, trends, and competitors within the security sector.

* Lead Generation: Support lead generation activities, including prospecting and follow-up calls to potential clients.

* Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest security technologies and products to provide clients with the best recommendations.

* Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including engineers and project managers, to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.

* Sales Tracking: Assist in maintaining the CRM system, ensuring all leads, prospects, and opportunities are tracked accurately.

* Customer Feedback: Gather feedback from clients post-installation to ensure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement in product or service offerings.

Junior Sales Engineer Skills and Experience:

* Industry Experience: Previous experience as a Security Engineer

* Technical Knowledge: Understanding of security systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and intruder alarms

* Sales Acumen: Strong interest in sales and business development, with a desire to learn and grow in a technical sales environment.

* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.

* Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated, driven, and eager to contribute to the success of the team.

* Desirable Qualifications: A relevant qualification such as a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Security Systems, or a related field is advantageous, but not essential.
