37.5 hours per week increasing to 50 hours in April: Monday - Thursday 8hours,Friday 5.5hours

Covering all the major industrial process sectors, working directly with industrial clients or as partners of specialised contractors or major engineering firms. With the primary aim of meeting client's needs and optimising their industrial performance, the company builds on a broad range of expertise, successful track record and an extensive network of technical designers, fabricators, welders and installation engineers. With this in mind, this is a fantastic opportunity for a pipe welder - TIG and STICK to join the company supporting a major project from their workshop in Daventry, NN11 4HB.

Duties
As a suitably qualified and experienced pipe welder - TIG and STICK you will be fabricating pipe spools within a modern well equipped and well-ventilated workshop in Daventry, NN11 4HB. Typical duties will include fabricating and welding 500NB to 1000NB carbon steel pipe with 15mm wall thickness. The weld procedure specifies a multi run, multi process weld to include a TIG root with STICK fill and cap. There will also be some smaller schedule pipework requiring a single TIG pass.

About You
Based ideally in Warwickshire or Northamptonshire you will need to live within a commutable distance of WF2 OXR as no accommodation or transport costs will be covered by the company.
Demonstrable experience of pipe welding heavy gauge carbon steel pipe using both the TIG and STICK processes is essential for this work. Previous TIG/STICK pipe weld codings are preferred.
