Simply Education are working with a Primary School on the outskirts of Louth who require additional Teaching Assistant support on an ad-hoc basis.

This is likely to be a part time post working in a range of classes in a lovely Primary School up to 2/3 days per week.

The Teaching Assistant will required to support the class teacher with a range of activities as well as support learners on a 1:1 basis.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

- Experience working with young people with ADHD and Autism
- Strong classroom management skills
- Confidence using technology and educational programmes
- Creativity, patience and enthusiasm for working with young students

Key responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant include:

- Providing classroom support to teachers during lessons
- Working one-on-one or in small groups to deliver tailored instruction
- Assisting with reading, writing, Maths and other subjects
- Preparing classroom materials and learning activities
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback
- Managing student behaviour and upholding classroom rules
- Supervising classrooms, lunch breaks, and school activities as needed
