Vehicle Technician or a mechanically bias Quality Inspector

Avant Recruit are proud to be partnering with our client, a market leading service provider within the Automotive Industry. We are currently searching for a Vehicle Technician or a mechanically bias Quality Inspector. This role is offered on a contracting basis and is classed as outside IR35, therefore offering payment via LTD or Umbrella PAYE.

The main responsibilities for the Vehicle Technician or a mechanically bias Quality Inspector are as follows:

* Carry out vehicle inspections at end of line

* Removing and refitting mechanical components and trim parts to vehicles

* Check mechanical components are secured and fastened to technical specifications

* Check all mechanical parts and components are free from damage and in correct working order

* Follow process to report any issues found on vehicles

To be a successful candidate for the Vehicle Technician or a mechanically bias Quality Inspector role you must:

* Have at least Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or similar or previous experience in a mechanical role or automotive assembly role

* Have good automotive mechanical knowledge

* Experience carrying out or assisting in MOT tests would be an advantage

* Full UK license

* Own basic tool kit

Salary:

* £18 per hour – LTD or Umbrella PAYE
