Job Title: Class 1 Driver

Location: Grays, London

Salary: £50,000 per annum basic salary

Hours: 4 on 4 off days and nights

Requirements:

Class 1 C+E Licence
ADR Licence 

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team based in Rainham, London. As a key part of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across various locations in the UK, ensuring a high level of service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for scheduled deliveries and collections
Transport goods safely and securely, adhering to all UK traffic regulations and company policies
Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards
Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate any delays or issues to the transport manager
Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary, ensuring proper handling of freight
Adhere to driving schedules and deadlines, managing time effectively to meet delivery requirements
Ensure high standards of customer service at all delivery points, representing the company professionally at all times 

Requirements:

Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving license
CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
Digital tachograph card
Minimum 1 year of experience driving Class 1 vehicles, with a clean driving record
Strong knowledge of UK road networks and transport regulations
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent time management and communication skills
