6 MONTH CONTRACT - INSIDE IR35
Our client, a global pioneer in sustainable aviation is building technology to change the way the world travels, they are combining the very best talent from Aerospace, Formula 1 and Automotive to develop a cutting-edge electric aircraft. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of Avionics Technicians to join their team in Kemble, Gloucestershire.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Carrying out the fitting of electrical / avionic aircraft components.
* Carrying out the build, testing and commissioning of sub-assemblies and full aircraft systems including low and high voltage electrical and mechanical systems as well as providing support for aircraft systems test and flight test activities.
* Ensuring all appropriate paper work or recording is completed and maintained (job cards, tech logs, tech library, ERP system entries).
* Maintaining a high standard of tool cleanliness and control throughout the workshop assembly areas, labs and machine rooms and maintaining exemplary FOD prevention methods throughout.
Shift Pattern
* Early / Late shift pattern - weekly rotation
* 06:00-14:30
* 14:00-22:00
Key Skills, Qualifications, Experience
* BTEC National Certificate Aerospace Engineering or higher,
* Relevant commercial aircraft apprenticeship or military equivalent.
* Minimum 2-5 years’ aircraft build / production experience.
* Full UK driving licence
